If you find you're sluggish in the afternoon, try an iced coffee. With the weather getting warmer, iced coffee is so refreshing and 0 points (for black coffee). I take mine with fat free half and half , no sugar - make mine decaf. Even decaf picks me up. It's so refreshing!

Pepperoni Pizza
Here is a 6 point pepperoni pizza I think you will love. I use 1 Thomas' bagel thin, put 1/4 cup of tomato sauce on each half, top each half with 7 slices of turkey pepperoni, and then I use a total of 3 points worth of part skim mozarella on top. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts. Super yum. One of the best substitutes I've found! (sorry no pic)

Colonel Sanders- move over
This is the most amazing chicken, you will love it!. It's Trader Joes Roasted Chicken Pattie. It is 3 points for the whole piece which is huge and hangs off the bun. I have it on a Sandwich Thin for a completely satisfying 4 points. It is so juicy and flavorful too. Also it is NOT loaded with sodium like lots of other pre-made foods. It is pre-cooked, so you just warm it up in a pan with a little cooking spray and it's done.
How about chicken parmesan with sauce and cheese
greek style with feta and olives
or BLT style with pre cooked bacon, lettuce and tomato
You cannot miss this!

Laura's Lean Beef
Do you love a good hamburger now and then. Give Laura's lean beef a try. You can check out their website and nutritional information. The 92% ground beef is 4 oz for 4 points. That's a quarter pounder for 4 points. It's making me hungry just thinking about it! You can use it in meatballs, tacos, etc.
Here's the website:

Not only is it low in fat it it hormone and antibiotic free. Just all good for ya!

Bacon: PreCooked vs. Traditional
Face it, with BLT season upon us, the prospect of bacon on your weight loss plan doesn't really look good. But consider this. Pre cooked bacon can have about half of the fat and calories of the traditional cook-yourself kind. Ok, so you won't get the grease splatters on your stove, and the smell of cooking bacon is really appealing, but consider this:
Oscar Meyer pre cooked bacon (4 slices) 70 calories, 6 grams of fat (2 pts)
Oscar Meyer traditional bacon (2 slices) 60 calories, 5 grams of fat (2 points)
The Hormel brand is 2 1/2 slices for 2 points
The pre-cooked can be expensive, but look for different brands on sale and coupons too.

Trader Joe's Lite Kettle Corn
I was on one of those really long shopping trips to Trader Joes, where I picked up and examined the label of almost everything in the store. I have my favorites, but wanted to branch out. I decided to give this a try. Lite Kettle Corn. I was pleasantly surprised, a great snack at 2 points per bag. Just sweet enough, and portion controlled! Give it a try! It comes in a 6 pack

Bagel Thins
Have you seen the Thomas' Bagel thins. It's just another bread option for you. At one point, they are versatile. Calling it a bagel in my opinion is a stretch - if you want a bagel, I suggest the Thomas' 100 calorie bagel , also 1 point, but if you want more of a sandwich bread, these are a good try.
