For lunch we had takeout from our local Chinese reataurant. This is how I had a 5 point meal. I ordered steamed chinese vegetables and shrimp. I weighed the shrimp and got just under 4 ounces (2pts). I got the brown sauce on the side - 1/2 cup (2 pts) and I had egg drop soup - 1 cup (1 pt). Of course I ordered it with no rice so I wouldn't be tempted, and I didn't have anyof those crispy noodles either...That's how I had Chinese takeout for 5 points!

A snack to fill you up
Powered Peanut Butter
Ok, it's not like eating a huge spoonful of Skippy right off of the spoon, but it is a suitable substitute. It comes powered and you reconstitute it with water. 2 Tbsp peanut butter and 1 Tbsp of water is a good consistency for eating (1 pt).
I order mine directly from here, Bell Plantations
http://www.bellplantation.com/
they also have a store locator so you can see where it is sold near you.
The packaging has changed, so mine doesn't look like the website, but it's the same thing.

My breakfast
For breakfast I eat the same thing Monday-Friday. On the weekends I mix it up. I eat a light English muffin (1 pt) and powered peanut butter (1 pt) and 1 cup of V8 (1 pt). I call it my power breakfast. - it holds me over until about 11 am.
The light English muffins I get the store brand (not the WW brand) - they are a lot cheaper.
See the next post about my powered peanut butter...

First Entry
I am hoping you will visit frequently, or follow my blog as I embark on my Weight Watchers journey. I figured I am counting and thinking about what I am going to eat all of the time, I might as well share some of my up and downs and wisdom in a blog. I have done this before, but this time it will work. I ultimately want to lose 70 pounds, but my first goal is 40 pounds.
